Department of Transportation statistics also show Frontier among industry leaders in other key performance categories

DENVER, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Frontier Airlines had the fewest complaints of any airline in the industry during November 2008 as measured in the Department of Transportation's (DOT) monthly "Air Travel Consumer Report." The report details the operational performance of the country's 19 largest air carriers, including the 11 recognized major airlines. The DOT released its November 2008 stats on Wednesday, Jan. 14.

Frontier also ranked third among all airlines for lowest mishandled bag rate (MBR) in November, marking the fifth consecutive month in which Frontier has ranked among the top five major carriers for fewest delayed bags.

Frontier ranked third among the major carriers in overall flight completion performance, or fewest flight cancellations, with a 99.76% completion factor

Once again, Frontier reported no flights on the DOT's list of chronically delayed or canceled flights. (These are flights delayed or canceled over 70% of the time.)
