Frontier Airlines Reports Preliminary Traffic for October 2007


Frontier Achieves Record Load Factor for Month of October

DENVER, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: FRNT) today announced preliminary traffic results for October 2007. Revenue passenger miles increased 22.1 percent to 817,351,000 for October 2007 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 11.2 percent to 1,024,439,000 for October 2007 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for October 2007 of 79.8 percent, an increase of 7.1 points from October 2006, when the airline reported a load factor of 72.7 percent. The airline carried 880,282 passengers during October 2007, an 18.6 percent increase from October 2006. The airline reported passenger yield of 10.09 cents for the month of October 2007, a decrease of 2.2 percent from the same period last year. Its passenger revenue per available seat mile was 8.05 cents, up .55 cents or 7.3 percent from October 2006. For the month of October 2007, the airline's average length of haul increased 3.0 percent to 929 miles as compared to the same period last year.
