Frontier and the Colorado Rockies Team Up for Another Five Years

Renewed Contract Means 2-for-1 Rockies Tickets for Frontier Fliers

DENVER, March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: FRNT) has renewed its title as the official and now exclusive airline sponsor of the Colorado Rockies, Denver's major league baseball team. The renewed contract extends the original three-year agreement, signed in April 2003, for another five years, providing Frontier with various promotional opportunities, advertising inclusion, and in-stadium signage at Coors Field, where the Rockies home games occur. Signage opportunities include Rockies games that are broadcast nationally, providing additional exposure across Frontier's growing network. In addition, some of the team's travel, including travel by various office staff, will occur on Frontier, whenever possible.

The true homerun of the new deal, however, is tied directly to the consumer benefits the renewed partnership will offer. With the start of the Rockies' 2006 season, any Frontier passenger who flies between March 30, 2006 and September 28, 2006 can show their boarding pass at the ticket window of Coors Field to receive two pavilion tickets for the price of one. In addition, the Rockies will supply unique experiences for inclusion in Frontier's frequent flier mileage auction site, The More Store (http://www.frontiermorestore.com/), including VIP opportunities to "play catch" with a Rockies player, a VIP trip for two to fantasy baseball camp and a VIP tour with on-field batting practice.

Jeff Potter, Frontier president and CEO said, "When the Rockies organization came to Frontier and asked us 'R You In?' it didn't take much discussion for us to answer with a resounding 'yes!' Through good times and bad, the Rockies have become an intricate part of the fabric of the Colorado community and there is no doubt in Frontier's mind that the Rockies are an integral piece of our marketing and sponsorship program. In addition, with our new contract, we have jointly developed a way to pair our low fares with an affordable Rockies experience by offering 2-for-1 tickets to any home game when fans show their Frontier boarding pass at the ticket window. We look forward to five more great years of partnership with the Rockies and we are eager to share this special relationship with all of our passengers."

"When a sports franchise reaches out to the community for sponsorship and support, the first thought is to go to those companies that have established a strong bond with the community, those whose names and brands provide an instant and positive recognition-and on the top of that list is Frontier Airlines," said Greg Feasel, Rockies senior vice president of business operations. "This has been a great partnership for the past three years, and we look forward to the next five."
