Oct 24, 2005Frontier Airlines Expands Service to Five Top MarketsDENVER (October 24, 2005) - In an effort to meet strong demand that began this past summer, Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) will add one daily flight to five of its top destinations: Dallas, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Chicago-Midway. The additional frequencies complement six new destinations that Frontier inaugurated service to over the past six months including Tulsa, San Antonio, Detroit, Akron-Canton (Cleveland area), Dayton and Fresno. The latest Phoenix and Las Vegas frequency additions represent the first time that Frontier will serve a destination with seven daily non-stop flights. The newly added flights will be aboard Frontier's new all-Airbus A319 and A318 fleet, which feature 24 channels of DIRECTV as well as three choices of first-run pay-per-view movies, 33 inches of legroom, and as always, outstanding customer service including pre-assigned seating and the industry's best frequent flyer program, EarlyReturns. Frontier's frequency increases will include the following:
"Following a record summer, both in terms of numbers of passengers carried, as well as our outstanding on-time performance, we felt that the demand for Frontier's unique service was sufficient to warrant not only additional frequencies, but in the case of Las Vegas and Phoenix, the most service we have ever offered to a city outside of Denver," said John Happ, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Planning. "This summer proved once again that when you offer a great product at a low price, customers will respond to the strong value proposition, and we have every reason to believe that will hold true for the additional frequencies we are offering to five of our top destinations."
