Feb 18, 2005Frontier Airlines Adds 35th and 36th Airbus A319s to its FleetDENVER (February 18, 2004) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced it has accepted delivery of its 35th (#N936FR) and 36th (#N937FR) 132-seat Airbus A319s. The airline will lease both aircraft from General Electric Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). With today's announcement, Frontier's fleet of 47 aircraft consists of four Boeing 737-300s, 36 Airbus A319s, and seven Airbus A318s. Each of Frontier's aircraft features a unique wildlife theme on its tail, depicting animals native to the continental United States and/or Mexico. Aircraft #N936FR features a walrus that is indigenous to Alaska on each side of its tail and on its wingtips, while aircraft #N937FR features a blue crowned conure which has been nicknamed "Mariner."
