Frontier Airlines Reports Preliminary Traffic for November 2004
DENVER (December 6, 2004) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced preliminary traffic results for November 2004. Revenue passenger miles increased 26.2 percent to 517,765,000 for November 2004 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 24.6 percent to 725,870,000 for November 2004 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for November 2004 of 71.3 percent, an increase of 0.9 points from November 2003, when the airline reported a load factor of 70.4 percent. The airline carried 522,773 passengers during November 2004, a 16.5 percent increase from November 2003. The airline reported passenger yield of 10.65 cents for the month of November 2004, a decrease of 6.4 percent from the same period last year. Its preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile was 7.60 cents, down .41 cents or 5.1percent from November 2003. For the month of November 2004, the airline's average length of haul increased 8.3 percent to 990 miles, compared to the same period last year.
