Apr 12, 2004Frontier Airlines Adds 25th Airbus A319 and Fifth Airbus A318 to its FleetDENVER (Apr. 12, 2004) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced it has accepted delivery of its 25th Airbus A319, #N926FR and its fifth Airbus A318 #N805FR. The airline will lease the 132-seat A319 jet from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) and it will purchase the 114-seat A318 jet with financing from Airbus Financial Services. With today's announcement, Frontier's fleet of 40 aircraft consists of 10 Boeing 737-300s, 25 Airbus A319s, and five Airbus A318s. Each of Frontier's aircraft features a unique wildlife theme on its tail, depicting animals native to the continental United States. Aircraft #N926FR features a black-tailed deer fawn on each side of its tail and on its wingtips and aircraft #N805FR features a great gray owl. About Frontier |
