DENVER (Mar. 15, 2004) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced
plans to expand service between its Denver International Airport (DEN) hub and
Chicago Midway Airport (MDW), St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL),
and Tucson International Airport (TUS). The additional frequencies are currently
available for sale.
Frontier's frequency increases will include the following:
Beginning May 23, 2004
- Denver to/from Chicago from three mainline flights to four
Beginning June 20, 2004
- Denver to/from Tucson from one regional jet (RJ) flight to two
- Denver to/from St. Louis from two mainline flights to three
- Denver to/from Atlanta from two mainline flights to three (previously announced
as beginning on July 18, 2004)
"Our customers told us that not only was a low-cost alternative needed
in several markets, but more flexibility in the schedule was equally important,"
said Sean Menke, senior vice president of marketing. "As a result, we have
added seven new destinations and over 50 new mainline and RJ flights to our
system in the past 90 days. It will be a busy summer for us and we are eager
to provide our great product and superior customer service to new and returning
passengers."
