Frontier Airlines and Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. Expand Codeshare with Two Additional Markets


DENVER (July 8, 2003) Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced it will add Rapid City, S.D. and Grand Junction, Colo. service to its codeshare agreement with Cheyenne, Wyo.-based Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GLUX), bringing the total number of codeshare markets between the two airlines to 36. Service between Denver and Rapid City is scheduled to begin on July 30 and Denver to Grand Junction service will begin on August 1.

The airlines, which initially entered into their codeshare agreement in July 2001, currently operate 34 codeshare markets connecting Frontier’s coast-to-coast destinations with Great Lakes regional destinations in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

“We are pleased to broaden our relationship with Great Lakes, bringing Frontier’s affordable fares and outstanding service to additional customers in the process,” said Frontier Vice President, Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. “Frontier and Great Lakes both operate from Denver International Airport’s A Concourse, making for convenient connections between Frontier’s 38 cities and Great Lakes’ 36 destinations.”
