Frontier Airlines Announces Service to Orange County

DENVER (June 5, 2003) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced plans to begin service between its Denver International Airport (DEN) hub and Orange County's John Wayne Airport (SNA), beginning Aug. 31, 2003. The airline will operate two daily non-stop flights between SNA and DEN, with convenient connections beyond Denver to 20 cities in the south and east. Including Orange County, Frontier and its codeshare partner Frontier JetExpress will serve 39 cities from its Denver hub. The service is subject to final approval by the Orange County Board of Supervisors, which is expected at the end of June. "We're thrilled to expand Frontier service into Southern California with our entry into John Wayne airport," said Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. "Our customers have long asked for more convenient access into the region, and in particular the commercial heart of Orange County, and we are pleased that airport officials were able to provide Frontier Airlines the opportunity to respond to that need."
