Nov 11, 2002Frontier Airlines Names George H. Webster Director of System Operations ControlDENVER (Nov. 11, 2002) Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today named George Webster as director of system operations control at the airlines Denver headquarters, effective today. Webster, 43, will oversee the airlines dispatch, system operations control (SOC) and crew scheduling departments, including approximately 180 daily flights and 30 employees. He will report to Vice President of Flight Operations Bill McKinney. The system operations control center provides critical direction for every aspect of our operation, and Georges extensive dispatch and system operations experience will provide a solid background in this area, said McKinney. Webster brings nearly 20 years of aviation experience to Frontier, and most recently served as director system operations control-dispatch for Phoenix-based America West Airlines, where he oversaw the daily operational control of the airline and its dispatch department. He also served as manager, dispatch training at America West, where he was responsible for hiring and training all dispatch qualified personnel. Other aviation experience includes service as a flight dispatcher for Denver-based Rocky Mountain Airways and as a load planner/operations agent for Denver-based Combs Airways. Webster is a founding member of the Airline Dispatchers Federation, and also belongs to the International Federation of Airline Dispatchers Association. Webster holds a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Western State College of Colorado. He and his wife Tammy, and their two children, Nicholas and Zachary, currently reside in Phoenix, Ariz. and plan to relocate to Denver. Denver-based Frontier Airlines employs approximately 3,000 aviation professionals and is the second largest jet service carrier at Denver International Airport. Frontier and its regional jet partner Frontier JetExpress offer service to 37 cities. Frontiers fleet consists of 34 aircraft, which feature a single-class configuration.
