DENVER (June 20, 2002) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Overland Park, Kansas-based firm, Juro International Systems (JIS), for the provision of new software that will allow the airline to warehouse and study real-time revenue analysis information, including information on flights booked through its various distribution channels.
Frontier Airlines will use the data delivered through Juro's JIS-TCN (Trademark and Registration pending) Revenue Analysis system to analyze and develop pricing, revenue management, distribution channel and network planning strategies. The JIS-TCN system uses transmission control number (TCN) data provided by the four global distribution systems (GDS) and produced by Frontier Airlines' internal E-ticket system to produce the information.
David Minnelli, Frontier's director of pricing and revenue management stated: "Juro's TCN system will greatly improve our ability to warehouse accurate Frontier revenue analysis data, and with the real-time information collected from TCN, we will be better prepared to respond to market conditions and more effectively maximize our revenue opportunities."
"Frontier Airlines has proven itself to be an ambitious player and an innovator in the major marketplace. Our JIS-TCN Revenue Analysis system is helping a growing number of aviation related businesses increase revenue and market share by changing the way they manage information. We look forward to helping Frontier Airlines accomplish its goals," said Kenji Oba, Juro International Systems president.
