May 23, 2002Frontier Airlines Starts its Engines for Inaugural Indianapolis Service TodayINDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 23, 2002) - Today, Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) will start its engines, making its first flight to Indianapolis International Airport (IND). The airline inaugurates service to Indianapolis with two daily non-stop flights between IND and its Denver International Airport (DEN) hub. Indianapolis service will also include convenient connections to cities throughout Frontier's network including Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Ontario, Phoenix, Portland, Reno/Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and Seattle. Including Indianapolis, Frontier and its affiliate Frontier JetExpress now serve 32 U.S. cities. "What an exciting time to launch service to Indianapolis, just in time for the Memorial Day holiday and, of course, the Indianapolis 500," said Frontier's Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. Frontier is also pleased to welcome Kattie Ziara as Frontier's Indianapolis station manager. Ziara will manage the airline's new operation, overseeing the operation's contract employees.
