Apr 17, 2002Frontier Airlines Seeks Marketing Research FirmDENVER (April 17, 2002) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced that it is accepting proposals from marketing research firms to conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer research, including potential consumer surveys and focus groups. The information obtained from the research will be applied to the airline's strategic marketing plan, and will enable the airline to consistently deliver to the consumer the type of service they expect from Frontier. "During the past year, Frontier announced 12 new destinations, began our transition to a fleet of brand new Airbus aircraft, and provided air travel to over three million customers. Our growth indicates that more customers are choosing Frontier; and a key part of our marketing mission must include understanding customer expectations, and creating a service experience that exceeds those expectations," said Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. "Frontier has quickly grown from a small, regional carrier at its start-up
just eight years ago, to a national airline with coast to coast service. To
many Frontier customers, our name is synonymous with quality, affordability
and excellent customer service, and we want to ensure that our customers' contact
with Frontier, from start to finish, reflects Frontier's values," said
Senior Director Marketing and Brand Management Ian Arthur. "We are actively
seeking a research partner with broad-based retail experience as well as knowledge
of the aviation industry that will assist us in focusing in on our customers
and their needs."
