Apr 2, 2002Frontier Airlines Announces Annual Spring is in the Air Fare SaleDENVER (April 2, 2002) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced its annual Spring is in the Air fare sale with discounted fares to destinations throughout its route system. To take advantage of great savings through spring, summer and into the fall, tickets must be purchased by 10 p.m. (MST) on April 16, 2002 for travel from April 30, 2002 through midnight (MDT) on Nov. 20, 2002. Fares start as low as $69 one-way, based on a round-trip purchase, for travel from Denver to Albuquerque, El Paso or Kansas City. Additional sample fares in markets across the country include: Atlanta - Los Angeles, $159; Tampa* to San Francisco, $134; Boise* to Chicago, $109; Dallas/Ft. Worth to Seattle, $139; Austin to Portland, $129; Kansas City to Phoenix, $99, Washington DC to Sacramento, $169 and New York to Reno/Lake Tahoe, $149. These fares also reflect prices one-way and require a round-trip purchase. An additional 10 percent discount is available on all Spring is in the Air fares when purchased via Frontier's Web site at www.frontierairlines.com. Tickets purchased from Frontier's Web site must be paid for with a major credit card at the time the reservation is made. The credit card used for payment must be presented by the cardholder upon the first point of airport check-in. Additional sample fares are included in the chart below:
