Frontier Airlines Names David Sislowski as General Counsel


DENVER (Apr. 2, 2002) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today named David Sislowski to the position of vice president and general counsel. Sislowski, 50, replaces retiring General Counsel and Frontier Founder Arthur Voss. In his new position, Sislowski will oversee the company's legal department, administration and properties and facilities and will report to Frontier President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Potter.

"We welcome David's comprehensive administrative and legal background and aircraft negotiation experience," said Potter. "We wish Art Voss Godspeed as he transitions into a well-earned retirement. Art's extensive airline experience, including nearly nine years at Frontier Airlines and his tenure with the former Frontier Airlines, will be greatly missed. We are extremely grateful to Art for his contributions during Frontier's start-up phase and during subsequent years, and wish him well in his retirement."

Sislowski most recently served as senior vice president and general counsel at Castle Rock, Colo.-based Alexander Capital Corporation, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company's legal matters, including negotiating lease and loan documents, analyzing and structuring new investment opportunities and developing internal policies and procedures designed to improve the timeliness and accuracy of portfolio and management reporting. Prior to that, Sislowski served as vice president and general counsel at Lakewood, Colo.-based Capital Associates International, Inc. and as vice president and manager, large ticket operations for MetLife Capital Corporation based in Bellevue, Wash. Sislowski has served as an associate attorney with Davis Wright Tremaine of Bellevue, Wash., and as associate attorney with Bogle & Gates of Seattle, Wash. He has authored several professional journal articles and isan active member of the Colorado Bar Association. He holds a juris doctor from the University of Washington and a bachelor of arts from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He and his wife, Julie B. Babcock live in Centennial, Colo.
