Frontier Airlines Inaugurates Service Between Sacramento and Denver on Tuesday, Feb. 26

SACRAMENTO, (Feb. 25, 2002) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced that it will launch inaugural service from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Sacramento International Airport (SMF), tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 26. The airline will operate two daily non-stop flights between SMF and DEN with convenient connecting service to cities across the Frontier network. Frontier will operate out of Terminal B2, Gate 27 at Sacramento International Airport.

“With Sacramento, Frontier offers service to five cities in California, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose and we are pleased that the positive response to Frontier’s affordable fares and legendary customer service has enabled us to expand across the Golden State,” said Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. “Sacramento is a very exciting addition for Frontier as the city has a strong business and leisure appeal and is a gateway to many other California cities and attractions.”

According to Sacramento International Airport’s Director of Airports G. Hardy Acree: "We are thrilled that Frontier is inaugurating service in Sacramento. Our objective is to bring choice to Northern California travelers and the Frontier service accomplishes this goal."

Frontier is also pleased to welcome Jessy Summers as Sacramento’s station manager. Summers will manage the new operation, and oversee approximately 16 Frontier employees as well as contract employees. He will report to Director of Customer Care and Service R. Scott Litcha
