Feb 25, 2002Sacramento Becomes Newest Frontier TownFrontier Airlines Inaugurates Service Between Sacramento and Denver on Tuesday, Feb. 26SACRAMENTO, (Feb. 25, 2002) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced
that it will launch inaugural service from Denver International Airport (DEN)
to Sacramento International Airport (SMF), tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 26. The airline
will operate two daily non-stop flights between SMF and DEN with convenient
connecting service to cities across the Frontier network. Frontier will operate
out of Terminal B2, Gate 27 at Sacramento International Airport. According to Sacramento International Airports Director of Airports G. Hardy Acree: "We are thrilled that Frontier is inaugurating service in Sacramento. Our objective is to bring choice to Northern California travelers and the Frontier service accomplishes this goal." Frontier is also pleased to welcome Jessy Summers as Sacramentos station
manager. Summers will manage the new operation, and oversee approximately 16
Frontier employees as well as contract employees. He will report to Director
of Customer Care and Service R. Scott Litcha Frontier Service - Denver (DEN) to/from Sacramento International
Airport (SMF)
