Nov 26, 2001Frontier Airlines Announces Sun and Ski Wintertime Fare SaleDENVER (November 26, 2001) - On a wintry Colorado morning, Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) introduced its Sun & Ski Sale with fares as low as $59 one-way between Denver and Albuquerque, based on round-trip travel. Travelers can bask in the sun in beautiful Orlando or San Diego or ski the snowy slopes of Utah or Colorado, and save money with low Frontier fares. Sample one-way sale fares include $99 for travel from Kansas City to San Diego, $109 for travel from Seattle to Austin, $129 from New York/LaGuardia to Reno/Lake Tahoe and $99 from Minneapolis to San Diego. Sun & Ski Sale fares do not require a Saturday night stay, are based on round-trip purchase and are available for purchase through Nov. 27, 2001 for travel between Jan. 8 and Feb. 13, 2002. “With the recent addition of Reno/Lake Tahoe and Austin to Frontier’s schedule, customers can choose from 25 cities, coast-to-coast, for their winter getaways,” said Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. “Whether enjoying the winter means hitting the slopes or basking on a sunny beach, the Sun & Ski Sale makes getting away an affordable option.” Sale fares apply to tickets purchased via Frontier’s Web site, www.frontierairlines.com, as well as those arranged through the airlines’ reservations at 800-432-1359 or a professional travel agent. Tickets purchased from Frontier’s Web site must be paid for with a major credit card at the time the reservation is made.
