Frontier Airlines Limits Carry-On to One Bag Per Passenger


DENVER (Oct. 8, 2001) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced that it will limit each passenger to one carry-on bag and one personal item, such as a briefcase, purse or laptop computer, effective Tuesday, Oct. 9. All baggage is subject to inspection by airport security and/or Frontier Airlines personnel.

Frontier Airlines is in full compliance with all FAA security directives and offers the following advice to passengers:

  • Passengers are advised to check-in at their airport of departure three hours prior to departure.
  • Passengers checking in at Frontier's Denver International Airport hub are advised to access the A Concourse via the sky-bridge on the north side of the main terminal.
  • Only ticketed passengers with boarding passes will be allowed through security screening to go to the gates. Be prepared to show your ticket and ID prior to security screening.
  • Have a picture ID on your person at all times, and passengers will be required to show a picture ID prior to boarding their flights.
  • No knives or sharp objects of any kind are allowed through security screening.
  • Visit your airport of departure's Web site to learn of any parking restrictions near the airport.
  • Absolutely no unattended vehicles are allowed at curbside. Unattended vehicles will be towed immediately.
  • All electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, personal assistants, etc.) will be x-rayed at security screening.
  • All vehicles entering the airport are subject to search.
  • Please be patient and courteous to all security personnel.
