Oct 1, 2001Frontier Inaugurates Reno/Lake Tahoe and Austin, Texas Service TodayDENVER (Oct. 1, 2001) - Today, Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) will begin service to two new cities, Reno/Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The airline will operate two daily nonstop flights between RNO and Denver International Airport (DEN) and AUS and DEN with convenient connecting service to cities across the Frontier network. With the new service, Frontier now serves 24 cities from its Denver hub. "We welcome the cities of Reno/Lake Tahoe and Austin to the Frontier network, and look forward to bringing our affordable fares and legendary service to these communities," said Frontier President and Chief Operating Officer Jeff Potter. "Frontier, along with the rest of the industry, has experienced challenging times recently, but our business must continue to move forward and the addition of these two great cities marks a step in the right direction."
