Sep 13, 2001Frontier Airlines to Resume Partial ServiceDenver (Sept. 13, 2001) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) will resume partial flight service today at 12:45 p.m. MDT (2:45 p.m. EDT). At that time, the airline will also complete two flights destined for Denver, which were diverted to Detroit and Toronto due to the ground stop on Sept. 11. Frontier’s flight schedule for the day will be relayed later today through the media and on the airline’s Web site at www.frontierairlines.com. Customers may contact the airline’s reservations center at 800-432-1359 for further information. Due to heightened security measures, customers must check in at the airport at least two hours before departure and should note the following Federal Aviation Administration required security precautions, which are in effect until further notice:
All Frontier passengers scheduled to travel between today and Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001 will be allowed to cancel their flight for a full refund or make changes without penalty for travel up to one year from their originally scheduled date of travel. Frontier will accommodate confirmed passengers on new flights, as soon as possible. Denver-based Frontier Airlines is the second largest jet service carrier at Denver International Airport, serving 23 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 27 aircraft and employing approximately 2,500 aviation professionals.
