Denver (Sept. 13, 2001) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) announced that, contrary to previously released reports, all Frontier flights have been cancelled for today, Thursday, Sept. 13 and until at least 4:45 a.m. MDT (6:45 AM, EDT), Friday, Sept. 14, with the possible exception of flights that were diverted to non-Frontier based cities including Toronto and Detroit, as a result of the Sept. 11 ground stop.

The resumption of service is dependent upon pertinent airport operations and the airline is working closely with federal aviation officials regarding enhanced security directives.

Further information on Frontier’s flight operations will be relayed later this afternoon through the media and on the airline’s Web site at www.frontierairlines.com. Customers may contact the airline’s reservations center at 800-432-1359 for assistance.

All Frontier passengers scheduled to travel between today and Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001 will be allowed to cancel their flight for a full refund or make changes without penalty for travel up to one year from their originally scheduled date of travel. Frontier will accommodate confirmed passengers on new flights, as soon as possible.
