Sep 12, 2001Frontier Airlines Updates Operations StatusDenver (Sept. 12, 2001) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) currently anticipates resuming limited operations effective midday tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001. The resumption of service is dependent upon pertinent airport operations and the airline is working closely with federal aviation officials regarding enhanced security directives. The airline has cancelled all regularly scheduled passenger flights for tomorrow morning, Sept. 13, 2001 and today, Sept. 12, 2001, with the possible exception of flights, which were diverted to non-Frontier based cities, as a result of yesterday’s ground stop. Further information on Frontier’s flight operations will be relayed tomorrow, Sept. 13, 2001, through the media and on the airline’s Web site at www.frontierairlines.com. Customers may contact the airline’s reservations center at 800-432-1359 for assistance. When flights resume, due to heightened security measures, Frontier passengers must check in at the Frontier ticket counter two hours prior to their scheduled departure and should note the following Federal Aviation Administration required security precautions, which are in effect until further notice:
