Jul 30, 2001Frontier Airlines Names Director of Pricing and Revenue ManagementDENVER (July 30, 2001) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) has named David C. Minnelli as director of pricing and revenue management, effective immediately. Minnelli, 32, most recently served as managing director, yield management at Trans World Airlines (TWA), where he oversaw 25 employees and developed and implemented the airline's short-, medium- and long-term yield management strategy. In his new position, Minnelli will oversee the airline's pricing and revenue management departments and will report to Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. "Frontier's pricing strategy requires adapting quickly to market trends and maintaining an adequate profit margin while preserving Frontier's affordable fare structure," said Menke. "Dave is well suited for these challenges and we look forward to his contributions as we continue to grow our network and optimize our revenue opportunities." While at TWA, Minnelli also served as director of international strategy and alliance and manager, revenue management analysis. Minnelli began his career at America West Airlines where he held various analyst positions within the airline and focused on economic analysis and yield management. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Eastern Kentucky University. Minnelli and his wife Kate currently reside in St. Louis, MO and plan to relocate to Denver. Denver-based Frontier Airlines is the second largest jet service carrier of Denver International Airport, serving 23 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 27 aircraft and employing approximately 2,500 aviation professionals.
