Frontier Airlines and Great Lakes Aviation Begin Codeshare Flights

DENVER (July 9, 2001) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced that, effective immediately, it will offer daily flight service to seven regional markets from its Denver hub as part of the airline’s codeshare agreement with Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GLUX). Tickets for Frontier/Great Lakes codeshare flights went on sale May 24. The codeshare agreement currently includes Casper, WY; Cody, WY; Gillette, WY; Cheyenne, WY; Amarillo, TX; Santa Fe, NM; and Hayden, CO. The agreement will ultimately expand Frontier’s service into 37 small to mid-size markets currently served by Great Lakes throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Texas.

“We are extremely pleased about this expansion of Frontier’s service, as we have experienced a growing demand for convenient flights, affordable fares, and quality customer service from the smaller regional communities served by Great Lakes,” said Frontier President Sam Addoms. “Passengers to and from these markets can now enjoy the benefits of competitive air service and we are looking forward to introducing many new customers to Frontier’s famous ‘Spirit of the West’ service as part of this agreement.”

To make a reservation for a Frontier or Frontier/Great Lakes codeshare flight, customers may contact Frontier Airlines at 1-800-4321-FLY, visit Frontier’s Web site at www.frontierairlines.com or consult their professional travel agent. In conjunction with this codeshare agreement, members of Frontier Airlines’ frequent flyer program EarlyReturns may earn bonus miles on Great Lakes when an itinerary includes a Frontier flight and may redeem those miles on Frontier Airlines or Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns frequent flyer partners.
