Apr 6, 2001Frontier Airlines Invites Public to Celebrate its New Corporate Headquarters on Tower RoadDENVER (April 6, 2001) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today welcomed the public to an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the relocation of its corporate headquarters to 7001 Tower Road, Denver, Colo. The new "Frontier Center One" building is located just five minutes from the airline's hub, Denver International Airport (DIA), and houses the airline's administrative departments including dispatch, pilot and flight attendant training, human resources, accounting and executive offices. Approximately 300 employees work at the new facility. Construction began on the 70,000-square foot, single-story office building on April 21, 2000 and Frontier employees began moving into the new building in late January 2001. L.C. Fulenwider, Inc. was the developer of the building, which was contracted by The Neenan Co., and designed by Architect Kenneth Harshman of Grey Wolf Studio. "We're very proud to welcome our guests to Frontier's new corporate headquarters. They'll see a building designed to reflect Frontier's spirit of an open, constantly growing and changing environment," said Frontier President Sam Addoms. "We're particularly pleased with the advanced technological capabilities of the building, including a full wall dispatch display monitor. A great deal of hard work and innovation went into this building and we are grateful to our partners and employees who made this move successful and will contribute to the success of Frontier for years to come." "Frontier Center One is the first building in what will be the 450-acre Denver International Business Center and its presence in the park is attracting interest from corporations affiliated with DIA, as well as outside firms. This is a rapidly growing community for the city of Denver and we are proud to be a part of that development." Denver-based Frontier Airlines serves 22 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 25 Boeing 737 jets and employs approximately 2,400 aviation professionals. The airline is the second largest jet service carrier of Denver International Airport with an average of 112 daily systemwide departures and arrivals. Zagat's Airline Survey recently ranked Frontier Airlines as one of the top ten domestic air carriers based on comfort, service and food. In 1999 and 2000, Frontier's maintenance and engineering department received the Federal Aviation Administration's highest award, the Diamond Certificate of Excellence, with 100 percent of its maintenance and engineering employees completing advanced aircraft maintenance training programs.
