Dec 11, 2000Frontier Airlines Names Director of Customer Care and ServiceDenver (Dec. 11, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) has named R. Scott Litchard as director of customer care and service, effective immediately. Litchard joined Frontier in 1999 as regional director of station operations and has more than 15 years of airline management experience. In this newly created position, Litchard will oversee the airline's field stations, including above- and below-wing operations. He will report directly to Vice President of Station Operations and Customer Service Mike Bowers. "Scott brings a great deal of airline operations knowledge and experience to this position, and as we focus our attention on Frontier's customer care and implement new customer care driven programs, I am confident that Scott's influence in this expanded leadership role will play an integral part in that initiative," said Bowers. Litchard has held a variety of roles in the airline industry, including director of finance and manager of airport services for Continental Airlines and director of stations for Continental Micronesia Airlines. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from West Virginia-based Bethany College. Litchard has two children, and currently resides in Westminster, Colo. Denver-based Frontier Airlines serves 23 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 25 Boeing 737 jets and employs approximately 2,300 aviation professionals. The airline is the second largest jet service carrier of Denver International Airport with an average of 114 daily systemwide departures and arrivals. Unlike some other airlines, Frontier's low fares do not have a Saturday night stay requirement. In addition, Frontier offers frequent flyer miles in Continental Airlines' OnePass® program.
