Go Home for Thanksgiving and Stay for the Leftovers


DENVER (Nov. 20, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced fares that make it easy to go home for the holidays and stay until the leftovers are gone. Customers can take advantage of deeply discounted fares to select destinations to and from Frontier's Denver hub and gobble up savings on fares as low as $119 round-trip, for travel from Denver to Minneapolis or Denver to Salt Lake City. Additional fares include Denver - Dallas/Fort Worth, $169 round-trip; Los Angeles - Denver, $179 round-trip and Denver - New York/LaGuardia, $259 round-trip.

The discounted fares are part of this week's special edition of the airline's Spirit of the Web fares, which are weekly discounted rates for travel the upcoming weekend. This week's Spirit of the Web fares must be booked and purchased by midnight (Mountain Standard Time) Nov. 23 for outbound travel Nov. 23 or Nov. 24, returning on Nov. 28 or Nov. 29. Frontier's Spirit of the Web fares may only be booked via Frontier's Web site at http://www.frontierairlines.com. Fares are available only for the designated flights and cities posted on the airline's Web site and are based on a round-trip purchase. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Once purchased, these fares are non-refundable and non-transferable. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets.

Sale fare restrictions are as follows:

  • Sale fares are only available for purchase on Frontier's Web site at http://www.frontierairlines.com.
  • Tickets must be purchased by midnight Nov. 23, 2000.
  • Travel must originate on Nov. 23 or Nov. 24 and must be completed on Nov. 28 or 29 by midnight (Mountain Standard Time).
  • Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates.
  • Fares are non-refundable and non-transferable and previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fares.
  • Passenger facility charges of up to $12 and segment fees of up to $2.75 per segment are not included in these fares.

Some additional restrictions may apply.

Additional sample round-trip fares include Phoenix - Denver, $169; Boston - Denver $259; Seattle - Denver, $179; San Diego - Denver, $179; Denver - Chicago/Midway, $149 and Minneapolis - Denver, $119.

Denver-based Frontier Airlines serves 23 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 25 Boeing 737 jets and employs approximately 2,300 aviation professionals. The airline is the second largest jet service carrier of Denver International Airport with an average of 114 daily systemwide departures and arrivals. Unlike some other airlines, Frontier's low fares do not have a Saturday night stay requirement. In addition, Frontier offers frequent flyer miles in Continental Airlines' OnePass® program. The airline updates this information on a monthly basis, and will issue a press release as it updates this information, through Dec. 31, 2000.
