Frontier Airlines Enhances Investor Information On Web Site
DENVER ( November 02, 2000 ) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced that it has enhanced its Investor Relations information available on its Web site, which can be accessed at http://www.frontierairlines.com. Investor information on the airline's Web site now includes forecast capacity growth (available seat miles) and historical operating statistics, as well as industry comparisons. The airline plans to update the information on a monthly basis.
"We are pleased to provide an additional resource for those interested in Frontier," said Frontier Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Steve Warnecke. "We decided to take a proactive approach to the Securities and Exchange Commission's Regulation FD, which took effect Oct. 23, by providing data for investors on a timely, widely disseminated basis. In addition, we will continue to develop the Investor Relations portion of our Web site, and will provide additional information in the future."
Denver-based Frontier Airlines serves 23 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 25 Boeing 737 jets and employs approximately 2,300 aviation professionals. The airline is the second largest jet service carrier of Denver International Airport with an average of 114 daily systemwide departures and arrivals. Unlike other airlines, Frontier's low fares do not have a Saturday night stay requirement. In addition, Frontier offers frequent flyer miles in Continental Airlines' OnePass® program.
