Aug 11, 2000Frontier Airlines to begin Ronald Regan Washington National Airport ServiceDENVER (August 11, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced it will begin service to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, effective Sept. 7, 2000. The airline will operate one daily nonstop flight from its Denver hub. With the new service, Frontier will offer convenient connections beyond Denver to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque and El Paso. The airline will operate in Terminal B. "We are extremely pleased to be selected as one of four airlines that received 'beyond perimeter' slots at Washington National," said Frontier's Vice President of Market Planning and Revenue Management Sean Menke. "We look forward to bringing our affordable fares and exceptional customer service to this new market." "We believe that Frontier Airlines' passengers will find Reagan National a customer friendly airport with amenities that are important to travelers," said James A. Wilding, President/CEO of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority which operates Reagan National Airport.
