Mar 23, 2000Frontier Airlines Electronic Tickets Now Available on the Sabre Global Distribution SystemDENVER (Mar. 23, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced travel agents utilizing the Sabre global distribution system (GDS) will be able to offer electronic ticketing, effective immediately. "Currently, over 50 percent of our customers use e-tickets, and we expect this number to increase significantly now that we can offer e-ticket capabilities via Sabre," said Frontier's Vice President of Marketing Jeff Potter. The airline now offers e-ticket services via all four global distribution systems (GDS), which includes Worldspan, Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre. Unlike other airlines, Frontier's low fares do not have a Saturday night stay requirement. In addition, Frontier offers frequent flyer miles in Continental Airlines' OnePass® program.
