Frontier Airlines Announces Spring is in the Air Fare Sale


DENVER (Mar. 20, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced its Spring is in the Air Fare Sale, offering fares as low as $69 one-way, based on a round-trip purchase, for travel from Denver to Salt Lake City. Additional fares from the airline's hub include Denver-Baltimore/Washington D.C., $144; Denver-New York (LaGuardia), $139; and Denver-Omaha, $99. Sale fares are based on a 14-day advance purchase for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday*. Tickets must be purchased by April 4, 2000 and paid for within 24 hours of booking. Travel is good from April 3 through midnight on Sept. 30, 2000. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Once purchased, these fares are non-refundable and non-transferable, but may be reissued for a $60 change fee plus any applicable difference in fare. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets.

*Sale fare restrictions are as follows:

    Fares listed are for off-peak travel (Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday),
  • *Off-peak travel days to Orlando are Sunday through Wednesday,
  • *Off-peak travel days from Orlando are Tuesday through Friday,
  • Fares listed are one-way, but a round-trip purchase is required,
  • Tickets must be booked and paid for by April 4, 2000,
  • Travel must be completed by midnight Sept. 30, 2000,
  • Fares must be purchased at least 14 days in advance of travel date,
  • Some blackout dates apply,
  • Passenger facility charges of up to $12 and segment fees of up to $2.50 per segment are not included in these fares.
  • Some additional restrictions may apply.

Additional sample fares in markets across the country include: Baltimore/Washington D.C.-Portland, $149; New York (LaGuardia)-San Diego, $174; San Francisco-Chicago/Midway, $129; Dallas/Fort Worth-Seattle, $144; Atlanta-Los Angeles, $169; and Boston-Denver, $149. These fares also reflect prices for each way and require a round-trip purchase.
