Feb 11, 2000Frontier Airlines Offers Ten Percent Discount on Fares via Web SiteDENVER (Feb. 11, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced that it will offer a 10 percent discount off select fares to and from the cities of Atlanta, Boston and Minneapolis/St. Paul when tickets are purchased via Frontier's Web site, http://www.frontierairlines.com. Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000 for any date of travel. "Frontier's Web site is an excellent resource for flight and travel information," said Vice President of Marketing Jeff Potter. "In addition, as more consumers turn to the convenience of on-line shopping, we want to provide an extra incentive by offering an additional 10 percent discount off of our already low prices." Tickets purchased from Frontier's Web site must be paid for by a major credit card at the time the reservation is made. The credit card used for payment must be presented by the cardholder upon the first point of airport check-in. The discount does not apply to already discounted, senior, "Spirit of the Web"and previously purchased tickets. Frontier's lower-priced restricted fares are non-refundable and non-transferable, but may be reissued for a $60.00 change fee plus any applicable difference in fare. Denver-based Frontier Airlines commenced operations on July 5, 1994. Unlike other airlines, Frontier's low fares do not have a Saturday night stay requirement. In addition, Frontier offers frequent flyer miles in Continental Airlines' OnePass® program. The airline currently serves 21 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 20 Boeing 737 jets and employs approximately 1,900 travel professionals.
