Frontier Airlines Announces Winter White Sale


DENVER (Jan. 10, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced its Winter White Sale, offering fares as low as $69 one-way, based on a round-trip purchase, for travel from Denver to Salt Lake City. Additional fares from the airlines hub include: Denver-Baltimore/Washington D.C., $139; Denver-New York (LaGuardia), $139, and Denver-Minneapolis/St. Paul, $79. These fares are based on a 7-day advance purchase for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 23, 2000 and paid for within 24 hours of booking. Travel is good from Jan. 16 through midnight on June 9, 2000. Passenger facility charges of up to $12 are not included in these fares and some blackout dates apply. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Once purchased, these fares are non-refundable and non-transferable, but may be reissued for a $60 change fee plus any applicable difference in fare. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets.

Sale fare restrictions are as follows:

  • Fares listed are for off-peak travel (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday),
  • Fares listed are one-way, but roundtrip purchase is required,
  • Travel must be completed by midnight June 9, 2000,
  • Fares must be purchased at least 7 days in advance of travel date,
  • Some blackout dates apply,
  • Passenger facility charges of up to $12 and segment fees of up to $2.50 per segment are not includedin these fares, and
  • Some additional restrictions may apply.
  • Tickets must be booked and paid for by midnight on Jan. 23, 2000,

Additional sample fares in markets across the country include: Chicago/Midway-San Francisco, $119; New York (LaGuardia)-Seattle/Tacoma, $149; Omaha-Phoenix, $99; Dallas/Fort Worth-Seattle, $139; Atlanta-San Francisco, $159, and Portland-Minneapolis/St. Paul, $139.
