Sep 28, 1999Frontier Airlines Issues Statement Regarding Fiscal Second Quarter Earnings ExpectationsDENVER (Sept. 28, 1999) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today issued the following statement regarding analysts' expectations for its fiscal quarter ending Sept. 30, 1999. Based on the airline's review of its financial results for August 1999 and the two months ended August 1999, the airline does not expect to meet current analysts' expectations for its second fiscal quarter. Earnings per share (EPS) estimates will be below expectations due to slightly lower than expected revenue and higher costs associated with maintenance, flight operations and the late delivery of a replacement aircraft. |
