Jul 30, 1999Frontier Airlines to begin Orlando ServiceAirline Offers "Travel America" Fare Sale to Celebrate New ServiceORLANDO (July 30, 1999) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced it will begin service to Orlando effective Sept. 9, 1999. The airline will operate one daily nonstop flight from its Denver hub and will add a second flight Nov. 4. With the new service, Frontier will offer convenient connections beyond Denver to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland. "Including Orlando, Frontier now serves 16 of the top 25 cities from Denver," said Frontier's Vice President of Marketing Jeff Potter. "While Orlando is primarily a leisure destination with a wide variety of vacation adventures, it also appeals to many business customers traveling between the Rocky Mountain region and the sunshine state.c
