Frontier Airlines Named Best Domestic Low-Fare Air Carrier

DENVER (March 30, 1999) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) was recently named "Best Domestic Low-Fare Air Carrier" by Entrepreneur Magazine as part of the publication's sixth annual Business Travel Awards. Entrepreneur's Business Travel Awards recognize travel-related companies, such as hotels, airlines and rental car providers, which offer value and quality. The Business Travel Awards "are not an official or formal ranking," but rather recognize companies that "offer top-notch services at the right prices and locations." Frontier's distinction as the Best Domestic Low-Fare Air Carrier is reported in Entrepreneur Magazine's April 1999 issue.

"We are thrilled to be recognized by Entrepreneur, especially when the award recognizes our airline for combining the financial considerations of small, start-up entrepreneurial firms and the comfort of their employees," said Frontier President Sam Addoms. "Frontier also considers itself entrepreneurial in nature, meaning we practice and reward resourcefulness and innovation in our business processes, so this award is particularly meaningful to us."

Denver-based Frontier Airlines commenced operations on July 5, 1994. Unlike other airlines, Frontier's low fares do not have a Saturday night stay requirement. In addition, Frontier offers frequent flier mileage points in Continental Airlines' OnePass® program. The airline currently serves 19 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 18 Boeing 737 jets and employs approximately 1,400 travel professionals.
