Oct 21, 1998Frontier Airlines Names Upchurch to BoardDENVER (Oct. 21, 1998) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced the appointment of James B. Upchurch to its board of directors. Upchurch, 40, is president and chief operating officer and a member of the board of Libra Investments, Inc., Los Angeles. He joined Libra Investments in 1991 and additionally serves as the managing executive of its affiliates Libra Capital Partners, LP and Libra Mezzanine Partners, LP. With Upchurch, Frontier's board consists of eight members including seven outside directors serving with one inside director, company president and CEO Sam Addoms. The board is chaired by Denver banker B. LaRae Orullian. Frontier operates a fleet of 14 Boeing 737 jets on routes linking its Denver hub to 15 cities in 12 states coast to coast. The airline began flying in July 1994. |
