Frontier Airlines Names Staion Personnel


Brett Jacobson Named Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport City Manager;
Greg Hurt Named Transportation Center Manager, Boulder

Denver (Oct. 12, 1998) -- ; Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) has named Brett Jacobson as Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport city manager and Greg Hurt as manager of its transportation center at Boulder.

Jacobson will be based at Minneapolis/St.Paul International Airport and succeeds Kevin Pederson, who was recently promoted to senior manager, station operations. Jacobson brings three years of Frontier experience to his new position, including his most recent assignment as customer service supervisor at Denver International Airport. Jacobson's new responsibilities will include overall supervision of Frontier's operations at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.

Director Customer Service and Station Operations Red Barringer said, "Brett's past experience as a customer service agent, customer service coordinator, and most recently, as customer service supervisor made him an outstanding choice for the position of Minneapolis/St. Paul city manager."

Hurt is assuming a newly created position in Boulder as transportation center manager. Hurt's career with Frontier began in 1996 as a customer service agent in Omaha, Neb. He brings 13 years of travel industry experience to his new position, which will include overseeing the new FreeWay Flyer bus service between Boulder, Colo. and Denver International Airport. Frontier's FreeWay Flyer service debuts November 1 and was created to utilize a complimentary, non-stop ground transportation link between Boulder and Denver International Airport for any Frontier customer.

"Greg will be accepting a new challenge for Frontier as a manager of our FreeWay Flyer service. He brings significant hotel management and airline experience to this position and he will be a natural at his new duties located in the Regal Harvest House Hotel," said Barringer.

Denver-based Frontier Airlines commenced operations on July 5, 1994. The airline currently serves 16 cities coast to coast with a fleet of 14 Boeing 737 jets and has approximately 1,100 employees. Frontier's website may be viewed at http://www.frontierairlines.com .
