Jul 20, 2005Frontier Airlines Reports Preliminary Traffic for July 2005DENVER (Aug. 4, 2005) – Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced preliminary traffic results for July 2005. Revenue passenger miles increased 7.1 percent to 731,270,000 for July 2005 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 3.8 percent to 892,754,000 for July 2005 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for July 2005 of 81.9 percent, an increase of 2.5 points from July 2004, when the airline reported a load factor of 79.4 percent. The airline carried 757,091 passengers during July 2005, a 10.8 percent increase from July 2004. The airline reported passenger yield of 11.39 cents for the month of July 2005, a increase of 11.2 percent from the same period last year. Its passenger revenue per available seat mile was 9.33 cents, up 1.19 cents or 14.6 percent from July 2004. For the month of July 2005, the airline's average length of haul decreased 3.4 percent to 966 miles, compared to the same period last year.
