Jun 20, 2004Frontier Airlines Reports Preliminary Traffic for June 2004DENVER (July 8, 2004) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced preliminary traffic results for June 2004. Revenue passenger miles increased 42.8 percent to 602,618,000 for June 2004 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 39.9 percent to 781,039,000 for June 2004 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for June 2004 of 77.2 percent, an increase of 1.6 points from June 2003, when the airline reported a load factor of 75.6 percent. The airline carried 601,139 passengers during June 2004, a 30.1 percent increase from June 2003. The airline reported passenger yield of 10.15 cents for the month of June 2004, a decrease of 13.9 percent from the same period last year. Its passenger revenue per available seat mile was 7.83 cents, down 1.08 cents or 12.1 percent from June 2003. For the month of June 2004, the airline's average length of haul increased 9.7 percent to 1,002 miles, compared to the same period last year.
