Frontier Airlines Narrows Badger Name to Three

Will it be Bella, Buddy or Cookie?

MILWAUKEE, May 28, 2010 - Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), today announced the finalists for the names of the badger gracing the tail of its newest 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft. Thousands of Wisconsin residents offered up their favorite names for Frontier’s newest animal and Frontier narrowed the list to Bella, Buddy and Cookie.

The names and an online ballot will be posted on FrontierMidwest.com/namethebadger at 8:30 a.m. CDT today. Wisconsin residents can also vote at the Frontier Airlines Landing at Milwaukee’s Summerfest. Entries must be received by July 4, 2010. The winning name will be announced July 5.

Additionally, one winner will be chosen at random from all Wisconsin voters to receive a $1,000 Frontier Fly Bucks card to be used toward travel on Frontier Airlines. Ten runners-up will receive a $50 Fly Bucks card.

“We received thousands of name suggestions and it was no easy task to narrow down the finalists,” said Ian Arthur, vice president of marketing and branding. “We’re all eager to find out what name Wisconsin residents think is the best and most memorable choice.”

The badger joins a talented cast of animals adorning Frontier planes and appearing in the airline’s advertising. To learn more about the popular “spokesanimals,” visit FrontierAirlines.com/animal-tales and YouTube.com/flyfrontiervideos.

Milwaukee’s Midwest Airlines is in the process of combining with Frontier to operate under the Frontier brand name. Frontier and Midwest will continue to integrate technology over the next six to nine months and during this time customers are reminded to continue checking in with the operating airline for their flight.
