Frontier Airlines Improves Customer Experience

Eliminates certain fees, adds advanced seat assignment for Economy

DENVER, June 02, 2010 - Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), today announced improvements to the customer travel experience. The changes, effective today, June 2, include the addition of advanced seat assignments at time of booking for Economy AirFairs customers and a reduction in the same-day confirmed change fee from $100 to $50 for Economy. With this change, all customers on all fare types will have the opportunity to select advance seat assignments wherever Frontier flies.

“We spent a lot of time listening to our valued guests and learning what would make the Frontier travel experience even better,” said Ian Arthur, VP of marketing and branding. “These are the first of many improvements you’ll see as we continue to integrate with our partner, Midwest Airlines, and develop a single branded carrier operating under the Frontier Airlines name.”

In addition to advanced seat assignments and reduced same-day confirmed change fees, the carrier will also make the following improvements effective June 2:

  • Elimination of the $25 ticketing service fee for travel purchased through the reservations call center and airport ticket counters
  • Access to the Best Care Club in Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport for Classic Plus customers on same day of travel

With AirFairs, Frontier Airlines provides customers the unique ability to choose the fare and amenities that best meet their needs. Customers can choose between three different fare levels: Classic Plus, Classic or Economy, each with varying levels of niceties and flexibility built into the fare.
