Jul 8, 2010Frontier Airlines Announces Service to Steamboat Springs/HaydenSeasonal Nonstop Service from Denver Begins Dec. 16, 2010
DENVER, July 08, 2010 -
Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways
Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), today announced it will resume seasonal
nonstop service between Denver (DEN) and Steamboat Springs/Hayden (HDN)
on Dec. 16, 2010. The daily nonstop service will operate through April
10, 2011, using the carrier’s Embraer 190 aircraft. Flights will be
available for purchase on FrontierAirlines.com
on July 11, 2010.
“Steamboat Springs/Hayden is a top winter travel destination and we’re
thrilled to resume our seasonal nonstop service from Denver,” said
Daniel Shurz, vice president of strategy and planning. “With easy
connections from key destinations including New York, Washington,
Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, Frontier will make it easier than ever for
our guests looking to get away for the perfect winter vacation.”
“Frontier travelers now have convenient flight options to reach
Steamboat and its incredible Champagne Powder® snow this winter from
over 25 key markets across the country,” said Andy Wirth, senior vice
president of sales & marketing for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation.
Frontier will operate Embraer 190 aircraft on this route. The E190
offers comfortable two-by-two all-leather seating with four rows of
STRETCH seating, which provides an additional five inches of comfortable
legroom. The carrier’s Embraer 170/190 fleet will also be outfitted with
in-flight internet service by the fall.
