Frontier Airlines Provides Travelers Flexibility in Advance of Hurricane Irene


DENVER, August 24, 2011 - Due to the projected impact of Hurricane Irene on the East Coast, Frontier Airlines has put travel policy guidelines into place for guests scheduled to travel to or from Boston, Hartford, Newport News/Williamsburg, New York (LaGuardia), Newark, Philadelphia or Washington, D.C. (Reagan) Aug. 24-29, 2011, and who purchased tickets on or before Aug. 24, 2011.

Customers who have already started their travel may make one itinerary change. Rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, blackouts, and minimum or maximum stay requirements have been waived. Origin and destination cities must remain the same. Changes must be made by midnight, Aug. 28, 2011, and travel completed by Aug. 29, 2011.

Customers who have not begun travel may make one change to their travel plans without a change fee or difference in fare if changed by Aug. 28, 2011, and travel is completed by Aug. 29, 2011. All travel rescheduled after Aug. 29, 2011, may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet the original rule or booking class.
