Oct 26, 2011Frontier Airlines Cancels Denver-Cancun Service on Oct. 27 Due to Hurricane RinaDenver winter storm travel advisory also remains in effect
DENVER, October 26, 2011 - Frontier Airlines today announced that it has cancelled its flights between Denver (DEN) and Cancun, Mexico (CUN) on Thursday, Oct. 27, due to the expected impact of Hurricane Rina on the Yucatan Peninsula. Travelers holding reservations for Flight 38 DEN-CUN or Flight 39 CUN-DEN on Oct. 27 will be moved to extra DEN-CUN and CUN-DEN flights added to Frontier’s schedule on Saturday, Oct. 29. Frontier will contact those passengers via email to provide them with updated flight information. Other customers traveling to, from or through Cancun on Frontier through Oct. 29, 2011, are urged to visit www.frontierairlines.com/traveladvisory to determine their options for rebooking travel. The following policy applies to customers traveling to, from or through Cancun who purchased tickets on or before October 25, 2011: The airline also said that due to a winter storm in Colorado, a travel advisory remains in effect for guests scheduled to travel to, from and through Denver today.
