Feb 9, 2012Frontier Airlines Announces Colorado Springs ExpansionFrontier Adds Convenience and Low Fares on Four New Routes
DENVER, February 09, 2012 - Frontier Airlines today announces four new nonstop routes from Colorado Springs Airport (COS) to each of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Phoenix SkyHarbor Airport (PHX), Portland International Airport (PDX) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) in May. The new nonstop flights enable southern Coloradans to save significant time and avoid connections getting to these top destinations from Colorado Springs. Frontier will operate the new routes with 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft. These will be the only nonstop flights from southern Colorado to Phoenix, Portland, and Seattle, as well as the only nonstop service to Los Angeles on a low-fare carrier. Flights to these new destinations are available for purchase today with introductory fares starting as low as $49* each way, including taxes and fees.
